Trees are our passion!
And it’s not only our short delivery times that prove this! The nursery (140 ha) contains open-ground avenue trees and 2 ha container/pot growing. All trees are of a natural, top quality with a strikingly good root system and an excellent crown-trunk ratio. Even at the stage of planting, trees with the right trunk height and crown shape are selected, which is an absolute must for high-quality growing results. By periodically transplanting the trees (a maximum of four years in the same place) the root ramifies more close to the trunk, which greatly increases the number taking root when transplanted.
Forms of partnership
Partnering with Huverba can be done on a contract or project-basis. This results in you having the option of adhering to tight planning. In addition to this, at all times you are assured of the ‘Just In Time’ availability of trees.

Container grown
You can plant avenue trees from container production throughout the year. They vary in size from 10/12 to 20/25. The trees are cultivated in a growbag or pot of 40, 50, 75 or 100 litres, depending on its size when being potted. We grow nearly 10,000 trees per annum like this. These trees are ideal for carrying out afforestation projects or as supplements outside of the regular planting season.
Trees with multiple trunks
Huverba grows trees with multiple trunks having between three and five ground branches, varying in height from 2.50 to 5.00 metres. These stools are grown at a distance of 3.00 x 1.50 metres and are also available in containers. Many applications are conceivable within urban greenery due to their high-quality rural character.
Feathered trees
Open ground
The feathered tree is distinct from the shrub form due to a greater height at maturity. These trees are regularly pruned in our tree nursery resulting in a large number of thin side branches on the trunk. The range includes Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata', Fagus sylvatica, Quercus robur and Quercus robur 'Fastigiata Koster'. Heights vary from 3.00 to 6.00 metres.
Container growing
Huverba offers a broad range of feathered trees in containers. The range includes Betula utilis 'Himalayan birch', Liquidambar styraciflua and Quercus robur 'Fastigiata'. Heights vary from 3.00 to 5.00 metres.
Conifers
A conifer is traditionally solitary. At Huverba, however, you can choose a standard conifer. These are grown at a distance of 3.00 x 1.50 metres. The conifer is extremely well suited to being planted in urban environments and requires little to no maintenance. Heights vary from 1.75 to 4.00 metres, with trunk heights from 1.80 metres.
Formed trees
Trees in various shapes are available:
- Roof-shaped, trunk height 2.80 m. Powder-coated steel frames are used with perennial branches.
